Ocean House: Victorian Charm & Subtle Coastal Influences of a Village by the Sea

Book your wedding ceremony and/or reception at the Ocean House of Carlsbad today! We offer four uniquely crafted reception packages arranged to help you achieve your ideal wedding celebration. All come with hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, a full course dinner, table linens and custom-designed (by you!) wedding cake. Every couple is different; we are more than happy to work with you to create a custom reception package if you wish. You are welcome to hire outside wedding professionals to provide products and services for your wedding day (with the exception of catering and alcohol). As the Social Events Director for the Ocean House, I will work in cooperation with the wedding professionals you hire. We have a list of our preferred vendors on our web site.

You may hold both your wedding ceremony and reception at our venue; we invite you to marry in our elegant Palm Room. As your guests enjoy cocktail hour in our Grand Lobby after the wedding ceremony, the Palm Room will undergo a dramatic transformation for your reception. If you prefer an outdoor ceremony, the beach or a grassy park are nearby. Lodging for out of town guests is within walking distance of the Ocean House, or just a short drive.

The Palm Room can accommodate up to 100 guests for your ceremony, seated chapel style. A Bridal Changing Room is available with tables, chairs, and a full length mirror.

Our Palm Room can accommodate up to 250 guests for a traditional seated dinner reception, or 300 guests for an hors d'ouevres and dessert, cocktail reception. Call Kelly Pitcher, our Social Events Director for a free consultation today!
