Peony Floral, originally opened in Honolulu, Hawaii in 2006 by owner Nicole Lomas, is now located just outside the city of San Diego in Kearny Mesa. Nicole's passion for floral design was aroused by the vibrant and unusual flora of the Hawaiian Islands. Inspired and motivated, Nicole moved to England in 2004 to pursue a formal education in the craft of floral artistry. Nicole is certified by the NCFE with a level 4 certificate in Floral Artistry from Solihull College in Birmingham, England. While in the UK, Nicole also had the opportunity to work alongside top designers in Margaret Tregoning's floral shop and produced high-style designs for the most discerning of clients.

Now, in San Diego and with over 100 weddings worth of experience, we are clear about our mission. Our mission is to ensure your expectations are not only met, but exceeded, every time. Each individual client is unique and has a specific vision. Our job is to ensure your vision becomes reality.

It is more important than ever these days that we are conscious of the environmental impact of our actions. Peony Floral is proud of the fact that we are and always have been especially conscious of this since the origin of the company. Many companies will offer "green weddings/events" but we guarantee that we make every effort to ensure each event makes the slightest impact possible by adhering to our green guidelines.

Green Guidelines:

• We recycle all cardboard and plastic packing materials
• We compost all green waste
• We encourage renting vessels rather than purchasing
• We use biodegradable containers/vessels whenever possible
• We purchase from local suppliers whenever possible and preferably from Veri-flora or fair trade farms
• We use cleaning products with natural enzymes rather than harsh chemicals
• And most of all… We promise just not to be wasteful!!!
